Pete's up there in Kalispell worried about the corrosive chemicals used on the roads. By next year he'll have a set of tracs on that K/20 running all over in it

Heck yeah! Throw some weight in the bed and slap the chains on. when I lived in Pagosa Springs that's what the old timers said..."We never needed no dang 4wd". And they get some serious snow!

What size tires are you running and is your truck stock height of 2 inch lift.

Those are 33" BFG ATs on stock 16.5 x 8.25 wheels - stock springs/height, no lift.

Gotta love the time before the plow! My road is the county line. My county plows to a road a mile or more north and from the junction, about the same distance south,to town. The county across the road does my stretch of the road. It ends up being about the last one done. I wish I could pay-off someone at my County's Road Dept. to hold off doing the rest of my area till the other county plows.

Up the road a piece:

Got a few dirt roads off of my section of road. Two follow creeks. This one's up around the bend:

No salt on the lake so we are safe out there.
For what its worth, this picture was taken this past Saturday. In the 25 years I've been hauling a fish house out on to the lake this is the earliest date EVER.

Chains on the front make it unstoppable and that plow makes quick work of packing snow around the house to keep the heat in.

It's not very impressive compared to some of the pics here, but OK, here's my winter pic. I'm done now, ready for warm weather.

ARDOT must have got new chemical squirters or something, because they have been on overtime here this year. We had flurries tonight and they were out.
