Close but definitely taller. From 69 C30 ..maybe the difference.

I'll bet those are the same. I only measured the height of the dome (square part not included). How much do you want for them?

Received the bolts. They look nice. Time to polish them to match the other five.

I've been working on other truck projects lately, but I finally got around to cleaning these bolts up. I hit them with a wire wheel and then sprayed the backs of them with a light layer of paint.

Nice job..wish I was at that point of dealing with the bumper. Thought those I sent would clean up.

Thought you might appreciate the Amazon sale since you live in California too....was looking for USGS site for a recent one.

Haha. That's confusing! I'd rather avoid earthquakes, if possible...

Re: WTB - Bumper Bolts

I was woken up to 2.9 earlier in week. We had a big one Dec 20 2022..6.4..biggest one I've been in. Another same date in 2021. You get used to the small ones..not the 5+ quakes.

Re: WTB - Bumper Bolts

We don't get earthquakes too often over where I am. Isn't there a big fault line off the coast near you?

PaulJG 07-29-2023 11:34 AM

Re: WTB - Bumper Bolts

Three tectonic plates off the coast are the culprit. San Andreas fault line a part of that.
Bay Area has a lot of fault lines. Mammoth Lakes area is fairly active geologic zone.
Not much in your area.
This winter we had quite a few aftershocks. The dec 20 quake damaged quite a few homes in Rio Dell. It was rated severe..has to do with a different scale than Richter scale.

Re: WTB - Bumper Bolts

Nice!
1st pic looks like a before with flatter headed carraige bolts..or my imagination.
Your truck looks like a squarebody. Did they use same bumper bolts from 67-72 (A)?
I'll guess not.
My last short trip..one yard crushed all vehicles(Coos Bay) no one allowed in for insurance purposes..and another all bumpers were gone. A lot of changes in wtrecking yards last 10 yrs.

Re: WTB - Bumper Bolts

First picture is of the bigger flatter bolts I replaced. I've got a '68 C/10. I think squarebody trucks used the same style of bumper bolts as 67-72. I saw some at a wrecking yard yesterday.
