Loosecanonzs So to be sure,do you only need the outer section of the cowl? The actual piece that the line is on?The bottom of that peice is the top of the cab below the windshield behind the speedo if you follow what Im saying. I will cut it on top at the hole left of the red line if thats ok. Rochlow The floors are pretty tough in most of these cabs but there is one I'll check if you only need that strip, I won't be able to see till morning.

Re: Cabs for patch panel cuts

Yes just the outer skin part of the cowl (the part that is spot welded on the actual cab). My cab part of that area is ok.

Thank you, sir. Just look at what my options are to fix my floor

This part circled in yellow is where my cowl is rusted real bad. I'm not sure which bolt hole you where referring to, but if its the 1/2" bolt hole I need that intact. If you where saying the section would be bigger then thats fine.

Re: Cabs for patch panel cuts

Loosecanonzs I meant the big hole left of the red line. Jos I think I can hook you up with that brace. Let me look in the morning. What year harness? Gauges or lights? Depending I might.

That will be fine with me. Let me know how much I owe you and how you want to get paid. Paypal, money order, etc. My zip is 33021

Jos I'll see about getting that off tomorrow if we dont get to much snow (yec). I need more info about that wireing, exact year ,standard or automatic, air or no air,we already know its got gauges not lights. Loosecanonzs I didnt get to finish getting all your stuff off yet either, got home to late two nights in a row, hopefully tomorrow weather permiting. Do you still need drivers side corner where the filler neck comes out also?

I need the drivers side door jam. The rot in this pic is from the pinch weld that the weather stripping attaches to, to the bend by the door hinge. I'd like as much of this jam as you are willing to send. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...r/934eaeab.jpg

Yeah I could use the drivers side also, but I only need the skin. It would need to be the same size as the passenger cutout to be usefull to me (from the rocker panel seam to the seam where the cab meets the roof, then from the door latch seam to atleast 1" past where the bed meets the cab).

If you don't have a good section I can hold off on the Drivers side for now.

Thanks, Ron

loosecanonzs got this off today. hows it look? Still working on corners, will try and wrap it all up tomorrow, get a weight then shoot you the total.BigCountyX is this what you had in mind? I'm thinking you only need the front of the post and the two sides not the inside of the cab part thats the side showing in the second photo. I could grind the spots from the back and take that piece off, it will lighten it up to ship and you will be able to see the inside. LMK what you want.Timberjim36 I don't have any doors to sell in fact I had to buy some for my project all the way from Minisota. I do have a 68 hood that is pretty straight but it has some little pin holes on the front edge. Its part of a bunch of stuff I bought last week and its not here yet but its close by. If your interested I could get you some pictures maybe as soon as tomorrow.

Re: Cabs for patch panel cuts

Yup, don't need the inside of the cab so feel free to lighten it up, but looks great, PM me the price shipped to 70769 and payment info. Thanks bro

Re: Cabs for patch panel cuts

Jos I was cutting stuff up yesterday and ran out of daylight before I got to that piece, Intended to do it today but it was so cold out compared to what it has been, I didn't get out there. Tomorrow is supossed to be a lot nicer, I promise I'll get it done. BigCountryX I worked on that piece last night and cleaned off the back. I need to build a box in the morning and I will weigh it and get a price on shipping. Loosecanonzs I still need to cut off that drivers side. That truck is further away from the shop so I have to run out more cords to get there. Tomorrow for sure, promise. jondancer That seems to be a popular piece,I sold one already and Loosecanonzs is waiting on another. How big a piece do you need? Depending on how big I might be able to get you one but the other trucks I have are up the road and it may take a day or two to get over there to look. DD1 I havent heard back from Bondo510 and its been 5 or 6 days so unless he see's this post and speaks up, then your up. If you still want it pm your info and I'll get it in a box. Rochlow Sorry I looked at that truck and ever though it has some floor in it I dont think that part is good enough to want to cut out and reuse. Tanman If your out there do you still want that clutch hole? That one is really better than it looks in the picture but if you want I could show you another one,LMK.

The cowl piece looks great. No huge rush, get to it when you can and let me know the final price.

Thanks, Ron

Jos I took that brace off. overall it was pretty good but was a little thin where it overlaps the bottom floor brace. It laps a lot so theres still plenty of meat to attach it. Your call. It will cost aprox $14 to ship and I'd like to get $10 for the part, I spent a while cutting and grinding it so I wont really make anything at that rate as it is. BigCountryX sent you a PM just wanted to send a cleaned up pic. Loosecanonzs I cut the drivers side corner off and it looks awsum. Im including the picture of the passengers side for you to see to make sure its enough for what you need if not I can try and get a diffrent one. The picture was taken during a cat scan.LOL Im gonna send you a PM too.

Pretty damn funny. I see your main Ailment is having a cat in the first place. Bazinga!

Back to business. The driver side looks great. The passenger side (which is the one I need more) looks short in the picture. It needs to be 24" or greater from where the cab driprail ends (top cab corner seam which also has a piece of chrome trim on my truck), down to where the bottom trim piece starts. This piece needs to be cab also, not just skin as my door latch area is rusted.
