New purchases as of last night and today. I also got the 1/25 Dazed & confused truck and the 1/25 model truck from ATM 1972 blue & silver. Have the 1972 blazer waiting on a response from owner. I made a offer to him.

Here is some of my collection, I don't have many 67 - 72 Trucks, but I do have a few Blazers. Johnny lightning really needs to come out with some 1/64 scale 67 - 72 trucks to go along with all the blazers.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
I've been working on this wall in my garage all day in between other stuff. I'm moving most of my stuff out to the garage and this is only the beginning. I have to build shelves for the bigger stuff first.

I ran across a site that has resin kits a few months ago. They had a couple of Burb kits. I cleared out my Favorites, but if I run across it again; I'll post the link for you.

I just won a couple auctions for two die casts I never heard of. I did a little checking and found a website that has scanned a catalog from the manufacturer, circa 1979. Here's the website with the catalog:
http://www.zylmex.com/1979pg10.html Heres what I got, was only interested in the black truck in the second pic. I love finding these obscure ones. |
Re: Die-cast 67-72
Just got the white 1/64th Blazer and have a yellow, blue waiting on the end of the auction.

Re: Die-cast 67-72
Why limit this to just die cast? What about dealer promos, plastic kits, stamped steel, tin,or any other replicas. Also, why not all the other years of GM trucks or vehicles in general. This is a hot topic but it`s new.I think to broaden it it would have a better chance to become a forum.Once we all show our die cast 67-72s there`s only the occasional,"Hey,a new one`s out" or someone new coming along with their stuff.
I`m just suggesting this to help give a new forum a better chance.Like a "Toy Vehicles" forum.Does anyone know of a good general toy forum site?I used to get magazines and The Toy Shop monthly classified.Surely with the internet there should be such sites. Here are some of my older Hot Wheels.I`ll gather up some 67-72 trucks later when I have more time. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...5/IMG_0320.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...5/IMG_0324.jpg I love these.Check out the custom flame job(not my work)... http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...5/IMG_0325.jpg My son took the middle roadster apart and painted it yellow and the interior black. He loved yellow vehicles back then. This one was green with some loud tampo all over it with a red int.He was 8 when he did it.Never got around to gluing it up,though... http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...5/IMG_0328.jpg 3 more... http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...5/IMG_0327.jpg |
