Moving right along I see. Hmmm...learned a new word today, "filon." This thread just keeps on getting more and more interesting.

Dig the green carpet. I had a '76 C30 van motorhome for a few years. Green shag in the van part and a stunning orange/yellow combo in the back. She was a looker!

There are few types of Filon. The one I purchased is .045 thick. You spray glue on it and the wood and bond them together. Need a few folks to get it done because it may be difficult to separate once bonded.

The wife said "This one goes to the front of the line". Burb 3rd, Blazer 2nd and Motor Home is priority. I hope to have this one done this summer.

Nice! I have remnants of a ‘67 Open Road, but it’s nothing like this one.

Well,
Did a lot of work this weekend. Here is a time warp back for the old Green Shag Carpet. Just remember "It's just a jump to the left".......

More pictures to come tomorrow....

I'm a bit behind, I just found this build today. But I wanted to say, I did not expect a Rocky Horror Picture Show reference when I got on this website this morning. Thanks for the laugh.

Oh, great work and nice truck, too!

It is looking very nice. What will you be using for the skin? Sheet metal or some sort of composite with hidden fasteners like newer campers?

I will be using Filon for the outer skin. It is very flexible and durable and it is glued on then you put the outer trim on.

Rear Filon installed.
Had to play with the pressure pot to get the glue to spray in a weird pattern. Took four dudes to put this up. All is well so far. Sides are next...
