How do I know the month of manufacture? I have a 71 402 and want a decal, unfortunately its in my 69 GMC

Isn't that the casting date and the assembly date is on a pad up front? assume the decal reflects, assembly. This stamped pass front pad, T0927TKX, 2525 below that and don't know what 2525 means. So looks like September 27.

Yes you are rite it's on the front passenger side by the head. But if the block has been decked those numbers are gone then you need to look at the back of the block for the month day and year of block

I'm confused, I would think the assembly date would be on the decal
