O yea BBC mounts also move it forward about an inch that's another reason I went sbc mounts.

Ok question time what do you think is better stage of paint single stage or 2 stage. What primer should I use the truck is going to be white. I am going to be painting this my self so keep that in mind. I already know that it wont look like a pro paint job. Also people around here can care less if you have a nice paint job. In fact I think they get a kick out of running and banging into a nice paint job.

well got the one piece driveline. All lines up good tearing it down for frame paint and front end rebuild. I will post some pics of it painted.

here is the frame all painted came out good also cleaned all the old riveted exhaust brackets of the frame and the rear bump stops

the frame all painted got the rear end painted poly track arm bushings in new bolts, rear springs what you think?:fb:

Well it looks like your going to do it up right starting from the ground up, I'm sure you'll love that diesel motor in there and its cool, its different. I put a 6.2 in mine and wouldn't change a thing...

got the engine back from machine shop also installed all the brake lines and found a uncut rear light harness.

update pass inner rocker rusted out got 18g metal put 90 deg bend in it and weld it in seam sealed the edges. Also undercoated the whole under side of the cab. Also cut out some small sections of rusted out floor and welded in patches. Cut out some heater delete patches and stitch welded them in will fully weld them tomorrow. Put cab back on frame installed poly cab mounts starting to come together.:metal:

So I got all the heater delete plates fully welded and started welding up all the little holes. I then ran out of wire for my welder :dohh: so I got to buy some more. All in all the firewall is coming out good im happy with it looks flat and true. I will post pics of it when im done o yea I ordered all new control arm shafts and ball joints. Im just waiting on my front drop springs to be ordered from my buddy and then I will reinstall the front end.

got firewall all filled in and smooth and primered to windy to paint. Got the rear wheel cylinders rebuilt and painted also all new front suspension parts.

Got the front springs in rebuilt the front wheel cyls replaced front brake hoses and installed new master cyl and painted it. I also painted the metering valve bracket and column lower support and master cyl cap. I replaced pinion seal also.
