Your scratch build seats looks great. Very nice.

Thanks for the pics. I will be curious what you solution will be for mounting the 3rd row seat. How big is your notch (how many inches above the frame does it extend)?

Happy Thanksgiving..

Still not convinced I'm going to be able to get that third row seat working.

Not been on the forum in a while and so much has moved on. My burb is now back home in the UK and although taking delivery of it over the christmas period, I was ill, so jobs on it were limited to indoors sitting in front of the TV

I started restoring the horn button on my olds rocket steering whel as I am going to adapt it to fit the column. I know that is not to everyones taste but as I had to sell my oldsmobile in order to fund this project after 20years of ownership, I wanted something to remember

Adapted my spare front row seat to make the rarer middle row. Arms and legs added

Switching over the grill slats on my $35 grill with a spare he threw in with the deal. Turns out it was a COE shell which is about 4 inches deeper.

Also wiring up the spark plugs after discovering the firing order from the dizzy by means of sticking my finger in cylinder no.1 while the engine turns over

nice progress, great way to remember your olds. I think the wheel will look great in this truck.

So with winter out of the way it's on to spring; or should I say SPRINGS. Measuring of the wire gauge of the springs I had gave me enough information to track down the closest springs available in the UK. It is definately a job you DO NOT want to be paying someone else for as it is very time consuming and labourious.

In other news I have mocked up the 53 overiders and bumper and like it.

Although the weather is getting better and there is more daylight hours here in the UK the jobs have got trickier (read slower) but at least I'm saving money by doing them myself as I would dread to think how much seat restoration might cost
