I find it amazing that you can do all that to a frame, but you can't post pictures in here properly. LOL

Looking great!!!!!!(but I have a crick in my neck!)

Well, every time I upload them they show the right way. Then I get on here and sideways. So I honestly have no idea how to fix it lol....So any suggestions???

But thanks!

what size tubing did you use inside the frame rails where you trimmed the belly out of the frame under the cab?

The best way I found to load pictures here in the correct orientation is to save the pics on my desktop computer in a file on this truck only.
Then once I write up my detail, I scroll down this page to the button that says "Manage Attachments". Hit it and you can browse your pics and upload them one at a time. If they were not saved correctly you can rotate them before uploading them.
hope it helps.

Hey thanks for the help on the pics, I will try that next time. Kinda thought that is how I did it but I must have missed something lol.

And I used 4x2 rectangle. Turned out to be perfect and really made sure we got some good welds on it!

Ok got some more work done this weekend. Got the notches in , built the crossmember behind cab built. Got the cross bars from notch to notch in. Also set the rearend back under truck and checked measurements. Couldn't have built the notches to a better height to clear. Filed in holes on the frame and grounded them down. Also cut all brackets off rearend and got it all ground down and ready for the new link mount tabs. Scored a couple of brand new air tanks this week, also test fit gas tank and it clears great. Well here's some more pics.

Thanks man, I've been following your build also. It is surely coming along nicely. I also came across it on fb as well in a group on there.

What is the group on F.B.? They think I'm crazy or? I think most here think I have "crossed the line" on the frame Z cut/drop. Not me.

Looks good, any updates!?

What tire size and backspacing are you running on those wheels.
Are you going to have to shorten the axle?

Tire size on the back is a 285/35R22 and back space I am not 100% but no I won't have to shorten rearend. One of the only wheels I found that I could run a decent lip and not have to shorten right now. As far as updates I have some, haven't got to take many pics lately cuz it's been a lot of little stuff that is not a lot to show but definitely necessity. I am taking off work to have a full shop day on it tomorrow. Should have rear bags mounted and upper link bar 100% finished. Also gonna cut bed floor and get it raised. Need to get a rear bumper for it soon
