Today cut out the inside fender wheels to clear MK II A Arms and took all that crappy tar stuff that the factory gets crazy with! All that is left is to weld up unessary holes and a little body work:ito:

I decided to fab up a brake cable today with original cable and a sleeve that I had laying around from my Model A Ford that I sold. I also had to fab brakets to mount the 56 Chevy handle. I cut the handle down and welded back up because I did not like the lenght of original and the way it sticks down in the Cab. Here are some pics. :ito:

Nice work. That steering wheel looks right at home in your truck. Wish I had the $$$ to buy one of those "shrunken" wheels for my truck but priorities are elsewhere for now.
I did something similar to your emergency brake setup using cables from Control Cables. I used part of the original rod and brought the cable up through the original hole. I made the cable holder out of a piece of pipe cut at an angle. It works good. |

For today Fab up some rear bumper brackets for a chrome stock rear bumper. Knothing fancy just use 3/8 Plate and a borrowed plasma cutter and press at the Base Auto Hobby Shop where I work (Edwards AFB). And no I don't own a shop and I wont make anymore to much work! Thank You :ito:
