this is my truck the wheels are 22.5 milled down to 22's the rears are the townastys. when I first talked with trevor at tennessee wheel & tire I wanted the new kenworth wheel that looks like the alminum slots but at that time alcoa was on strike so I couldn't get any. so I wanted the townastys to match the big hole wheels but thay come in the small hole. so with me being lazy and hate washing wheels I told trevor just make big slots out of them so their easy to wash that way the townastys match and I can wash them easily

IMO they are all near the same. I shop by price, simply because I have yet to hear a horror story about any of them.

I can understand that. And it isn't like many of you are really utilizing them to be real worried either. I was looking at the ones on ebay for $650. I'm up in the air inbetween 19.5's and 22.5's. If I get 22.5's they'll probabaly be take off wheels and recaps because I am dirt floor poor. LOL

I sold the adapters that came with my truck and went with a set from Trevor at Tennessee Wheel & Tire. I like that the hub-centric ring on his adapters is solid all the way around.
Not like my old adapters:

New adapters:

Probably doesn't make a difference but im picky.

Can I ask how much his are? Or do you have a link for them?

On edit, I did a quick search and found them. His look pretty strong, and I agree I like the hub centric ring all the way around better too.

There are other companies that carry the hug centris ones for much less. TN Wheel & Tire want $850 shipped for 4.

I noticed they seem pretty proud of their stuff. I inquired about direct bolt steel wheels and they are $275. That's the same price as their aluminum ones. He said it's because they build them in house.

Yes, if you get 4 adapters and make sure they are 8x6.5 lug pattern, then you are good to go.

Brentz Wheels has been making direct bolt on semi wheels for a long time. But to me, you lose the whole effect. The huge 10 lug is what sets it off. Direct bolt on 22s are just 22s to me lol

You cant use dually wheels, unless you convert your truck. You can however use the adapters and use "super singles" or "floaters". They are for single rear wheel (SRW) trucks. PM me if you need more info.
