That is the back yard at Flint Assembly. Now you can see why we would occasionally lose a truck back there. Lost ones would normally turn up at the end of the model year (or during production stoppages) when we worked the repair down to reduce the backlog. By then we would have already built and shipped a replacement to the same specifications. K |

This is my grandfather and his 1987 Suburban.
My next square project will be a suburban, hopefully in the same metallic blue in honor of him. They were so proud of that rig and owned it from 1989 to 1999. The first "Square" I ever drove was this one. |
