Yep, I saw those on IG the other day. Not sure if the seller is a member here or not but he claimed they were all sold. I've tried to reach out to him via IG but no reply so far. Hope you have better luck, GMCNUT. I appreciate you asking on my behalf!

As for my occasional WTB ad, I know it's a long shot. But I found one so there are probably others out there.

Sodly, I hate to say it but we simply found out about these NOS mouldings too late. He sold every set he had in 45 minutes according to the page moderator. Sorry - I tried to immediately jump in on your behalf when I saw the post on here, but it was already too late....

I can tell you that I have learned the hard way which ones were not worth buying over reproductions, and these upper cab mouldings are one of those things. Some items are simply "done right" and when they are, they should be considered. I recommend you buying a repro set, and then selling the one NOS one you have - its a wiser move and you will be very happy with the reproductions. I have both and you cannot tell them apart. Just my two cents

Really Steve ? You'd put Chinese parts on a Survivor ? Sorry , just gotta keep you in line here ! :) You know its out there , the thrill of the hunt !

Hahaha....that "thrill of the hunt" has cost me thousands over the years, but nowadays I do buy and install a lot of reproduction parts, and have found most to not only be made here in the US and not China, but also found most to be of equal to greater quality than original, so I have saved thousands on body shop labor and re-plating using aftermarket parts.

Re: WTB: NOS Sail Panel 64-66

Well , if made in USA Id really like proof on that. Yes I see some things done that way. My hats off to Mar-K for their products , but the Truck Shop I don't think so. Not bad mouthing them at all. I've had to use a couple things from them but being a purist I see many differences in fit and finish that are too far off. Their Bumpers front and rear are good looking till you fit them. I doubt very much that the repop sail panels are USA made but Im listening ? Sorry but my pride in my own stuff gets in the way of saving money . Most every aftermarket aluminum molding made is dead soft as compared to original. You can squeeze a reproduction Dynacorn wheel opening molding flat with two fingers , same with stainless windshield molding , these are cars I'm speaking of. A guy I know bought four sets of each just to get one good set for a 66 Impala. It has its place and satisfies a market , I would rather use nice used in this case for Sodlys truck. Other than tires its original. You know theres a difference when all those NOS sail panels sold in 45 minutes !

Selling out in 45 minutes, REALLY? Hmmm, I say bulk sale. I'd be on the lookout for these to pop up at an inflated price.

Sodly...Trust me they are out there...yes Brand New NOS Sail Panels, in original packaging with original GM paperwork I have seen them with my own eyes.....But heres that bad part...If someone has then...they WILL NOT SELL them.

If they have taking the pains taking effort to get NOS parts, then 9 times out of 10 they will use that stuff on their own project and unless you come across someone who 1...doesnt know what they have..( Highly Doubt) 2. Has no friends who could use the parts...again highly doubt or 3 that you have something that they really need and would be willing to trade...chances are you are simply out of luck...Sorry...
