I'm looking at the top half in a Lexus Pewter color and Ferarri Red on bottom . I wish I knew how to work with the photoshop. I like the way yours came out!

I was going to do the Lexus IS300 Graphite Grey on top (my wife has a 2003 IS300) and the metallic red from the 2006 Lexus on bottom, I even had the rendering for it done like that. I was going to run the grey in between the side moldings as well.

Hey Juan,

That is a beautiful CarryAll!!! I like the rendering as well. I was thinking the Ferrarri red and a Pewter to keep it a little on the lighter color side. I saw another truck with similar paint scheme in thge GoodGuys Gazette. The bright red shows off the polished deep wheels nicely!

Thanks for the compliments. Your correct, red always shows off polished aluminium very well. I was in the same boat then I realized I needed lighter colors and I was at the Good Guys Del Mar show and I saw this orange and beige hot rod and liked the colors alot.

Good luck with yours! I can't wait to see it done.

Thank you. I got the idea to run trim when i swapped a door with a truck door I bought and it had the trim on it. I used the long bed trim (SWB is too short) and took out a section at the rear to shorten it so it would fit. It's tough to cut stainless and then I had to polish it.

This thread has made me rethink my decision to use just one color.

I agree! My truck does not even belong on the same page with your truck! Plus as a huge raiders fan I hope you are keeping the same colors:ito:

Me too, though I would like to see some stepside's on here. I was thinking of going all Orange on my stepside, but now I'm thinking two tone, white top and maybe else where with the orange.

Great Thread!!!

Now there are...

Here's my '64, with the paintjob from the previous owner... still not dropped... still has the granny-first Muncie... still keeps the garage floor lubricated.

It looks like a garage/backyard application that needs buffing, and I'm going to see if my Porter-Cable 2474 can do anything to make it smoother.

HEY! That photo shop of the 63 is bad azz. but I think the yellow pin stripe on that part of the bed would be hard to pull off.

Thanks Dino! Looking at the stable of rides you've got. I'm honored!;)

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I've been out of town since the 14th.

Hey Frizzle Fry,

Love the stepside job you did there. Could you try that with Orange instead of black on the bottom, and a black stripe seperating the two? I think that's how I want to do my truck.....

Thanks.

Frizzlefry-
I agree - your PhotoChop pic is the ONLY one doing something creative with 2-tone on a stepside bed (very cool - I saved it to my truck pics folder for down the road). Anybody else have something original with stepside treatment?
