Yep its a stock grill from a 73 , The first 1 I bought was warped but I was able to get the clean 454 emblem, I bought each of the NOS gmc letters from ebay I even ended up with an extra set , Like others I've seen I like the 73-74 grill better than the 77 , when I bought the truck it just had a simple tube grill, I use it for a paint rack !

I think by far that is my favorite grille for the round headlight trucks. I wish LMC made a repop of it.

Yea I would really like a grill with the chrome around the outside , nope the slots are long gone , I'll run with the truck rallys !

I finally got the wheels back from the powder coater , he said he couldnt get the powder down in the crack where the inside meets the outside so I ran a small bead of silicone in there, wasnt real happy about this , but they are ready to get mounted ! I also found this small pic of it before I tore it apart ,

not sure what the drop is , does anybody know what it is from the ground up to the middle of the fenderwell stock? mine it like 27" at the rear and 26" at the front with the air dumped , the rear tires are 315/60/15 rear on 10" w/5"bs and 275/60/15 on the front on 7's I think they are like 3 3/4"-4" bs, I had to use them with the drop spindles, I may have to raise the rear up a bit with it dumped I can just about get my fingers between the tires and fender

yea I could prolly tune it up some , I'm gonna try to put the wheel well moldings on to cover it over may have to trim them some too, I still wish I woulda made provisions to put the side molding on ,givin it that more factory look, if I would have seen some of the trucks on here with it on before paint it would be on there !

I got brave and took it outside today ! I just had to be able to see the whole thing with the wheels and tires on, I like it !

Thanks guys , Oh Yea, I still have to get some ambers , on the new Lmc list , the amber ones I have just werent nice enough so I put them clears in cause they were new, they dont look to bad just dont give the correct look I guess ,
