I haven't heard anyone mention they saw one of our trucks in a recent movie. A few weeks ago I got the "you haven't gone to a movie with me for a long time" from the MRS. So I agreed to go see the movie "Twilight" with her. Low and behold there is a pretty straight '63 long step in the movie. It's a little strange looking though.....it is a Custom Cab with the trim and a stepside. Surely I'm not the only one that got drug along to see this 'chick flick' Anyone?

Here's a pic.....not the best pic, but the only one I could find right off.

Nubbie of Nub Graphix, the painter on American Chopper also drives a '64-'66 Suburban.

Clint Eastwood drives a '64-'66 Chevy stepside on Any Which Way But Loose with his sidekick orangutan, Clyde. I found an inside shot that is a '60-'63 and an outside shot that is a '64-'66.

This is a cool Chevy Truck link:

the inside shot is the 55 chevy from every which way but loose the first movie and the 64 gmc is any which way you can the second movie i grew up watching both of these movies with my dad

I just remembered; my '63 was used in the television program "Top Cops" in the early '90's.
They put Missouri plates on my truck and used it in a chase scene as well as a background vehicle. My brother drove it and got paid as an extra in the episode.
Greg.

Very cool. They've been filming a lot of movies here in New Mexico and I was wondering how I can get my truck in one. Even just in the background...that would be cool.:ito:

I saw a movie last night ( Sum of all Fears ) that had a fleetside in it . The scene was in the desert as they were trying to pick up the lost atomic bomb and load it into the back of the truck . Only showed the truck from a rear 3/4 angle so you couldn't tell what year it was .

I think a '64-66 was used in the Sum of all fears. Even the Iranians like them.

Joe, thats from GTA San Andreas, but that's not in the normal game; That is a special add on mod from some website. There aren't any 60-66 in that game originally.
