ok havent posted in a while the body on the truck is a total lose i went to start cutting out the body mount channels and the back half of the truck cab where the b pilliar collapsed sooooo i have located a donor body in south nj which is from i believe an 84 blazer and i plan on using that and switching the front clip back to a 78

X2 Sometimes you're better off to just throw in the towel.;) and start over. Good thing is you have a lot of nice parts stashed to work with when you do get a "workable" body.

well boys it didnt take me long:) i located a body in mullica hill nj and went to check it out today. the truck is an 85 blazer with almost no rust ecxept for the bottom rear corner of the doors and the usual spot on the wheel wells. my plan is to switch the bodys and then reinstall a 78 front clip. now i have seen it done before but does anyone have any advice on how its done like for example what needs to be done to the hood hinges right now. here is the pic of the new truck gonna go pick it up next wensday it did have a 454 th350m combo but i bought it with no motor and trans cause guys wanted them for a el camino.
