I thought I would post a pic of the tires I got with the Panel. I hope I have enough horsepower to turn them over...

I started digging out parts I have had stashed, waiting for the right project to come along. I set the buckets in to check the fit and it looks like they will work great. They are the Dodge buckets. I will use the tilt and get a new bezel for the tach cluster. I also have a complete power brake setup and a complete power steering unit with pump and brackets for it.

I like the Dodge bucket setup, is that some kind of below dash a/c unit.

Thanks guys. I haven't looked for a tag on the under dash air but it does have a brand new Sanden compressor hooked to it. PO said it worked when he was driving it and I have no reason to doubt him.....

It sure does Bob. If you have yours working how well does it cool the burb?

It works well, Leon, at least for the front seat passengers. (But I haven't had to sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic in 38*C / 100*F weather here in rural Manitoba.) I can't say how it is in the back seat, and doubt it would be too effective in the third seat.

OK, thanks. I guess I won't have to worry about the 2nd or 3rd seat...:).. I know I could still add them but I don't plan on it.

Leon, you must have a honey hole somewhere, like someone's favorite hunting/fishing spot with all the big ones hiding, you find the best trucks out there, in Iowa of all places, reading on here all the time you hear about the stuff in the Pacific Northwest, well them guys have nothing on your honey hole!

Well Mike you just have to beat the bushes. Sooner or later something will jump out. I'm going to try and have it ready to drive to your Midwest get together....

Leon, I'm glad you finally got this one. I know you've been hunting it for a while. I'd leave the roll pans, to me it's an old school pro street build. I like it like that. You could make a nice ice cream and wine truck out of this baby.

Sounds good Greg. I may not get a lot done on it until I get the shop cleaned up enough to get it in there. I'm working on it....

I would like to see it but I couldn't do that myself, they are too hard to find.

That's what I did with my '68...(stock C-10 w/ a leaf-sprung/posi)
and, besides, finding those JUST RIGHT 6-lug wheels is fun!

Neat rig Leon and subscribed (finally). :D

Thanks Ellen. The nice thing about it is I already have a set of six bolt slotted wheels..:)... Like these, except I don't have the six bolt ones polished yet. I think they will work good with the theme of the Panel.
