Personally, I never liked column shifters. I had a '61 Mercedes 190 that had a 4-on-the column. It could jam between 3 and 4. [Don't know about the GM column shifters...] When the MBZ blew its engine up, I bought a C/10 with a 4-Speed. Still got it.

That’s perfectly reasonable to assume as the 420 was gone after ‘67.

I had a 70 k20 cst with 3 on the tree bought from original owner asked why he said so he could put 3 people in u can see in the post k20 only
