Licensed/inspected and insured. :ww:

Planning a shake down run this weekend.

Changed out the 38.5 super swamper for a set of 37" radial SSR's.
Weld wheels are narrower also, trying to tuck the meats in as much as possible to avoid tickets.

Original cluster
Complete original wiring harness
72 tilt column
Lokar column cable shift conversion
Made a new/different tranny cover for the triple sticks

Everything works and functions correctly even, imagine that

Here's the way it will stay for awhile.

Hey Kurt, it's looking good. You must not work for a living for you to be able to get things done so quickly, or no wife, no kids...LOL!!

Got it all, wife, three kids and a business to run.
My wife graciously gives me "extra" time when it's available.
Kids help me wrench when their in the mood as well.

Nice looking rig. Is your rear axle moved forward a little bit?

FormerMember 10-09-2005 02:50 PM

Yes, it's move forward 1.5" to allow for the wheel to stay centered when flexed.

Same for the front.

went up for sale? anymore details???

Already sold them, they left here today.
Sorry, I didn't know you were looking for a wheel/tire set.

GMC71k20 10-09-2005 09:59 PM

So far so good.
They drive/ride very good on surface streets. Fairly quite also.
I wouldn't call them a 'mud' tire but I believe they'll be a great compromise cause I plan on driving this thing to the trails instead of trailering. :hm:
