thanks for all the compliments, I just finished painting the frame and running the fuel lines. Had to make a bracket for the fuel pump/filter assembly.

I haven't seen this for a while, you've made some great progress. I wish I could have used that tank on mine. The tail lights and instrument cluster looks real good.

Hey 55 chev pu I must say you are doing an amazing job on your truck. I wondered where you got your dash insert? I've been crawling around on the web and found one at Brothers for $395. Any other places?
Thanks..... Brian:cool:

55ChevyPU 04-20-2006 03:23 AM

Re: 55 project thread

uh I actually live pretty close to brothers about 30 minutes to be exact. By insert do you mean gauges if so then I bought the cluster from brothers.

entourageguy 04-20-2006 07:33 AM

Re: 55 project thread

yes it was the gauge cluster I was refering to.

Re: 55 project thread

Hey 55chevpu about the fuel tank you used. Do you have the model of that Jaz tank? or at least the dimensions.
Thanks... Brian

Hey great job I can only hope my project goes as well as yours. Would you happen to know where I can find the brackets that are spot welded on the cab just ahead of the doors on the cowl that attach the top of the front fender both sides. I'm having trouble finding them here in Oregon...

Re: 55 project thread
