Re: What parts aren't out there?
3x on the Burb liftgate. How about a patch panel for the front section of the passenger inner fender that's always rusted under the battery?

Re: What parts aren't out there?
LWB Bedsides!! I can't believe no one has them??
And I second the tool box door. Maybe a one piece rocker panel that also has a little of the floor area molded in to it? I'm always seeing the rocker panel rust extending up into the floor an inch or so... |

Re: What parts aren't out there?
Tri-Pro, are you a vendor, supplier or stamper? I worked at a stamping plant for 10 yrs. Takes a lot of time and cash to tool up a new product. Seems like the LWB sides are the most wanted but industry wide SWB are the most popular thats why there stamped. I had a plant manager that was from GM. He had contacts in GM and checked if the old dies was around. GM scraped 'em years ago. Just curious on what kind of connections you had on this stuff.

Re: What parts aren't out there?
Red cargo light lenses, so the cargo light can be converted to third brake light.

Re: What parts aren't out there?
Another vote for a toolbox door. Not sure what they used to sell for, but something under $200.00 if possible.
I would like a 67-72 front fender cup for the "Left Side"! Down here both side rust out! |
Re: What parts aren't out there?
67 stepside fenders

Re: What parts aren't out there?
x2 on the Blazer rear carpet hold down trim & rear interior side panels. Also would really like to see hold down brackets for the rear seat made for 69-72 Blazers.

How about the 67 - 68 grill.. ?
|
Re: What parts aren't out there?
John, Interesting answers. This board is the best. You'll have a 67-68 grill on Friday. See you then.

Re: What parts aren't out there?
They may not be the biggest sellers, but I would think that there would be alot of profit in repopping towhooks, and factory style plastic shoulder belt covers. It just seems like they wouldn't be hard to reproduce, and the originals bring mega bucks for what they are.
|
Re: What parts aren't out there?
Thats what I mentioned hugger,I would buy some tow hooks depending on how close to original they were and save mega bucks.I would love to have some 72 style front and rear for my truck but dont wanna spend $1000 for 2 sets:lol:

Re: What parts aren't out there?
again on the lwb bedsides.
radio patch panels shaved cowl factory quality tailgates |

i'm only interested in the LWB steel floor, and would gladly play to get it shipped. my guess is that you could repro one fairly cheaply, keeping material costs down, knowing that customers will have to pay a good chunk for shipping. |
Re: What parts aren't out there?
also would be cool to see someone make a weld in tail light gas tank filler setup. while you're at it, give it an in cab popper :)

wouldn't mind if it was a fiber-resin product. hhehehehe... a fine poster on this board, sold two used items recently for above 40 usd. the dash itself seems to sell as well. |
Re: What parts aren't out there?
i know this is a little off topic but i was just wondering how much the lwb bed sides as well as the lwb steel bed floors usually go for when you do find a decent one. thanks.

Re: What parts aren't out there?
Another vote for steel bed floors, both swb or lwb.

A patch panel to fix the bottom left side of core supports, under the battery area where mud & gunk build up and rust out the ledge that bolts to the inner fender. It would be cheaper & easier to ship than a buying/shipping whole core support. |
Re: What parts aren't out there?
Hart rod hit it on the button the upper and lower Clam doors for the 1967--72 chevy suburbans but make them with a little better drianes on the bottom of the doors and i like to see the 1967--72 Heat shilds for the 4bb carb with heat tube most of use older people like all factory trucks
and the one peace floor is a good Idea i wish they make the one peace floor for the 1967--69 camaros and 1968--1972 Nova's man it save us a lot of time |
