Re: project " little daisy"
Well yesterday was like takeing a few steps back. I fired up the compressor and blew the hose so I had to fix that.. Cleaned the shop up and busted out the sawz all so that I could cut out a small section where the driveshaft was rubbing when you hit a bump. Dropped out the driveshaft and proceded to notch crossmember and they it happened I see fluid and think wtf did I cut gas ? brake line so I stop the saw and run for a bucket. Turns out the brake line runs accross the crossmember and it was so dirty I did not see it. Then I proceded to pop off the diff cover to change out the rear fluid and check to see if there really was a posi back there???? guess what no posi not really a big deal but I hate liars... So I get the rear end buttoned up and put the drive shaft back in and fire her up gonna move her out so I can take some pics she runs great and the after getting warmed up she dies crap.... So I check out everything and damned if shes not outta gas so into town I go... Hopefully today will be more productive... wish me luck..

Got a few things done today I repaied some of the rust on the lower door hinge pocket cover. I got the headlight bucket glass beaded and powder coated black. My new chrome headlight rings came in also but I need a headlight adjusting screw. The guy at auto zone just glazed over when I asked him about the plastic tabs for a 56 chevy headlight adjuster.
