Yo! What can I say besides "far friggin' out!".
MAGNIFICENT job, dude!
Looks like something I'd take on. My '73 3/4 ton 4x4 flatbed was cracked through the door threshold though, and while searching for a cab, I found a whole free '78 3/4 ton 4x4 P/U in perfect shape and swapped over the really good stuff from the Missouri flatbed to the Wyoming P/U.
Keep up the great work and please keep posting updates for us!
Todd.

Your truck is looking great! I've been wondering if you had made any more progress on it lately. Hadn't seen anything about it in a while. Keep us updated! ...Joe

Great job on the restoration! This may be a dumb question ,but, what is Protecto Wrap? Is it like Dynamat or some other sound deadner?

It's slightly thinner and a lot less expensive than Dynamat. It's actual purpose is to be used around windows in homes.

That is beautiful work there! Had you done paint work before? I'm about to start a build as well and the paint work scares me more than anything else.

Also when you took on the task of replacing the bottom end of the cab was that all factory spot weld that you drilled out or did you have to cut to pick a spot and cut the whole thing out?

This is my 4th paint job....they seem to get better the more practice that you have under your belt,

The front and rear spot welds were drilled out...above the rockers were cut with a cut off wheel.,,,there was a lot of measuring and planning involved.

Great inspiration. I just picked up a 85 K20 and I am trying to hunt down a cab. Mine is SHOT, bad floor, fire wall is rotted and the area around the windshield is also rotted. I am bound to fix this truck up and use it as advertisement for my buisness.

Yours looks awesome

Sarge
