Two pics of an original paint '72 4x4 I had until 2005 (I don't know why I sold it). Check out the tow hooks (on SPID) and ORIGINAL Tires (Verified by Uniroyal). It was the nicest driving older vehicle I have ever driven!

There are some absolutely dynamite looking trucks in this thread.

Re: Pics of original survivor trucks wanted
I agree, there are some nice survivors out there. Many of us still enjoy seeing these trucks the way GM built them. Nice find DEISS, the blue highlander is more than a survivor, it is a freeze frame, even has the original 7.50-16 tire size and 2 piece wheels. It has the chrome blue bowtie caps, white rims and correct silver color locking rings. Rings were not painted wheel color.

Re: Pics of original survivor trucks wanted
Thanks factorystock, my new blue highlander is something else, not at all show quality, but mostly rust free, I changed the plugs and fluids, and have put close to 200 enjoyable miles on her, idles with 18 inches of vacuum, gets compliments from someone at every stop, and is a pleasure to drive. I`m leaning towards selling her because this truck needs to be garaged and driven on sunny holidays, and I`m not set up to do that just yet. She needs to go to a good home.http://i652.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/IMG_0889.jpghttp://i652.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/IMG_0903.jpghttp://i652.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/IMG_0881.jpghttp://i652.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/IMG_0908.jpg

Re: Pics of original survivor trucks wanted
Beautiful trucks. Someone should make an album of pictures in the gallery with survivors. Thanks for starting this thread, very enjoyable to look at.
