Great build ... I really dig the pan cake job on the hood. I also thought the rounded bed corners came out well.

I'll be watching the rest of this build.

Thanks.

What a butt head you are.lol I told you the other day that driver side is power and the passenger side is manual (I'm driving so I'm the important one). What I really like about them is they are not sticking up very high from the view through the back window.

GRRRRRRR:devil::sumo: Well by the time you finish your girls will be driving your prize toy so I suggest you make that other seat a power seat too.

Hey Kim,

If my big head friend would not have opened his mouth I was going to post pics this weekend. I wanted to post pics of how I mounted them, but since he opened his big mouth I'll post this for now.lol

See you always have to throw the low blow. You don't fight fair.lol All I have to say to the fact that I'm taking so long is that "THE QUALITY OF THE BUILD IS IN THE DETAILS". That's my excuse and I sticking to it.

Hey Tri5nerd,

I have enough room but I don't know if I want one. I kind of like the simplicity of Cal58GMC's interior. I don't want something too busy. I don't know what I'm going to do until I do it.lol You know me.lol I try to do what the truck calls for, ya know the theme of the truck.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

Thanks Kim,

They are out of a 1998 Dodge Intrepid, I paid 120 for them at pull your part. Can you believe they charged me 10 bucks more because one was electric?lol Then he looked at me like I was going to put them back over 10 bucks.lol I'll post pics of how I chose to install them when I take some pics this weekend. I can tell you one thing there is only junk at the yards near my house now. I know that the hotrodders have been through there.lol

I have noticed that here too. I suspect with the economy there are lots of people out of work stripping the car hobby interesting stuff out and selling it on ebay, cl or at yardsales or swap meets. That seems to be the case around here. When I as looking to an astro van steering shaft had to go to three yards and found the last one at the third yard. That was out of probably 15 vans I looked at.

So its not just in Los Angeles huh? I did not think of the craigslist, ebay, and swap meet but now that you mention it. Yeah I can see that's the case.

Those seats really look good in there. I know you now you are going to lose sleep over what type of center console you're going to build. Hey did you get your steering wheel yet. Now is the time to get it with prices the way they are. This is even 25 bucks less then what I paid for the same wheel on my Pontiac
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/14-Ch...item5d2cffdb4b Just thought I show you since you said you like this style, but lok at all the steering wheels they got some good deals.
