Re: PROJECT EVOLUTION 70 jimmy build
Your truck looks great, what brand of sandblaster are you using? I'm considering sandblasting and painting my small parts and frame myself to save alot of cash and not to mention paying someone to haul everything back and forth to the sandblaster and paint shop and not scratch anything.

Re: PROJECT EVOLUTION 70 jimmy build
i just bought one from sears for like 60 bucks, and ordered a blasting helmet off ebay for 20 bucks,,i get 50lb bags of blasting media at orschelins for around 10 bucks a bag..as far as my cabinet, it was just one i picked up at harbor freight

Re: PROJECT EVOLUTION 70 jimmy build
So it's definitely worth it to do it myself. I hope the neighbors don't mind a little dust, they've been supportive this far along in my build. Thanks

Re: PROJECT EVOLUTION 70 jimmy build
well, the guy in town wanted 250 bucks to sand blast it,,but i would have to haul it,wait, then haul it back...but yeah it was worth it, i saved about half of that i guess
