getting the transfer case all tore down,,replacing all gaskets and checking all the bearings...those needle bearings are a serious PITA.

found some center caps that cover the lug nuts,,i really dont like looking at lug nuts,,i remembered eagle made some of these caps about 10 years ago,,so i just had to find some,,had to cut the fronts to fit,,but i like the look

finally got the transfer case done and painted,,also got the front bumper brackets blasted and painted,,,still looking for my donor truck for my ls swap

it slides right over the hub,,about an 1/8 of an inch clearance all around it..no issues what so ever

thanx..it would be coming along alot faster if i had a chance to get a doner truck for the engine/tranny,,been workin 14 hr days for awhile now...just aint enough time in the day

not a whole lot of progress, but got the shocks,front braided stainless steel brake lines and the steering stabilizer on

finally got my donor vehicle..ended up buying a 2001 yukon that was rolled, has 130k on it so it will be just right for this baby. i should have it home on monday then get to takin it apart

Your truck looks great, what brand of sandblaster are you using? I'm considering sandblasting and painting my small parts and frame myself to save alot of cash and not to mention paying someone to haul everything back and forth to the sandblaster and paint shop and not scratch anything.

i just bought one from sears for like 60 bucks, and ordered a blasting helmet off ebay for 20 bucks,,i get 50lb bags of blasting media at orschelins for around 10 bucks a bag..as far as my cabinet, it was just one i picked up at harbor freight

well, the guy in town wanted 250 bucks to sand blast it,,but i would have to haul it,wait,then haul it back...but yeah it was worth it, i saved about half of that i guess

got 90% of the motor mounts done, still have to get it on the frame, but waiting on getting the spacer for the tranny and transfer case,,but lookin good,,just ended up buying the actual bushing from DIY and fabbed up the rest
