In your photo it's a dark shadow, tough to tell if it's just a shadow, or an actual bedside step.

Ah! I get you now! Yes I notice all SA GM trucks have the step on the passenger side, I know US spec trucks do not have the step, I wonder if GM put the step only in SA trucks..... I prefer it without the step though, mine also has it....
