Thanks for all the info. Yeah I would like to keep my utilities. If I can find the correct medium green fabric. I'd like to be a little different with this truck. Keep the inline 6. Hop it up a bit just to town my Boler camping trailer. And keep the utilities because you just don't see them that often. Maybe becuSe others think they are ugly, but honestly I don't mind them. I am going to re paint an original console to match as well

You may find the utility seats are too wide to be able to fit a console in between.

My OEM console fits between my utilities, just make sure the screws don't have a burr to rub on the fabric

I seen some very bad reviews on SMS fabric. A couple of you have recommended them. I assume the service was good? Anyone have any feedback on them?

Other than being fairly persistent, I eventually got what I needed. Trouble is even if you see bad reviews, they are the only ones in the country that has these old OEM and in some cases NOS material. Unless someone knows someone else. Like I said before, may have to talk with several people before you get what you need. Take picture of what you are wanting, find someone in the company who will help, send them a pic and they will send you a sample.

Bigdon - thanks for all your help. Greatly appreciated. Emailed SMS and they have it. How much did you buy when you bought yours?

I have utilities and a center console. It's tight but it fits.

I ordered 3.5 yards of patterned and 4.5 yards of unpatterned. Patterned price around 75.00 yard and 49.00 unpatterned. I am glad they were able to help you out. Will try to find the dash pad in garage this weekend. It is or was in a big protective tube when I last remember.

Sounds good. Thanks for digging up the dash pad. Now I need to find some arm rests in that colour.

Also, how long did it take for you to receive your fabric from SMS? I see reviews of it takin MONTHS!

Re: Interior for 1970 blazer 2wd help

Well I looked and I do not have that pad, must have moved it long ago. Sorry. They do sell repops that are very nice indeed, in fact, mine was repop. Had to paint it to match because the interior color was so rare. I primed it with something called Bullydog and we then sprayed it with conventional auto body paint equiptment. Napa sold some interior type paint for plastic and such. Worked great for the repop pad I got. and was still holding on wonderfully when I sold it.

Thanks for looking. When you first told me about your dash pad you said it was OEM.

Anyways, thanks for trying . Appreciate it.

Oh sorry I think I misunderstood which pad you were talking about. Your interior looks great!
