I can see $60,000...
Think about it, here is a guy, who picks up a blazer, sends it to a shop, and pays to have it redone. Anyone here ever price out what it takes to chome all of the things that were done to this blazer. Also, ever take your truck to a body shop and ask for a complete paintjob? (not a maico or miracle shop). Would be around $8000 on up as most shop would not touch it, as they like quickie insurance jobs. More then likely, he had this built by a 4X4 shop, and they don't handle it like a restoration, which would explain things like unpainted tailgate letters, no tach, wrong door, etc.... So, would I be able to build a truck like this for cheaper, HELL YA! and so would most other the other guys on this board as most of us can do this on our own.... This guy just flat out paid a shop to build this truck.... |
Exactly . . . Perfectly said John. This guy, I don't even think is a Blazer guy to start with. If I had to give you guys my .2 cents. Looks like he came across a bit of money did some window shopping and got stuck . . . I am sorry to whom ever you are but you should have built a Blazer with a chrome chassis not some full convertible 4x4 . . . with whatever you call that. AND I am a Chrome FREAK!!! But that is to much chrome. For the record - chrome is NOT cheap . . .

the tire and rim combo are ugly in my opinion ,, looks like theres more sidewall hiting the ground than tread ,, wide rims are cool ,, if youre running wide tires to boot, mine are 14 inches wide,, but my tires are 18.5 wide

With that kind of money I could build several trucks..............and have alot more fun...........
