If you search in the internet for engine suffix -YV you will find often 327 m/t (for manual trans.). This is wrong in my opinion, see also Chevrolet truck parts catalog, Oct 1969-
It's clear stated C10-C20 3-speed Automatic and this is what I see in practice on my truck. |

Spotlight is working know. The reason for the short circuit was in this case not the switch, but thank you again for the advise. The reason was a corroded inner bar, therefore the full axial movement was not possible and the lamp was wrong assembled. The rear contact was collided with the gear key.

Block number 3959512, fits 62-67 327, Crate engine number CE 4N36071, GM part number on Crate: 3970160 CE4N36071 C = Chevrolet E = Engine 4 = 1964 N = run trough (n rounds 20,000 to 49,999 36071 = Flint 36071 -20000 = 16071th engine in round N |
