Well crap.. I added a new virus program to my computer that's full of errors and now it's doing crazy things like double posting and not posting what I typed.. Moderator, you have my permission to delete any of my duplicate posts especially the [DELETED] post..

Installed a Texas Speed stage 2 cam. Came with new valve springs, pushrods, front cover, and gaskets. I think installed corvette front drive assembly, and changed to a LS3 style intake

Started putting together a stainless exhaust system. Thinking of using magna flow mufflers. Have any suggestions on good mufflers to use?

Got the cowl welded in this past weekend. Mostly filled in the old spot welds that held in the original cowl. Looking for a place to get OEM doors around the Houston area, any suggestions?

Original 71 doors, that are practically flawless besides mirror holes and some veryminor dents.

Nice find there on those doors. Always best to stay with original if you can find em they say. Good progress on the truck, keep up the posts!

Do you know the paint code for the original color on that truck? I have a tailgate that I bought that is that color.

Magnaflows can sound pretty nice. I've also been a fan of Borla and Corsa mufflers too. Little more subtle at idle/low RPM, but really open up when the engine breathes. Almost no wrong answer though when it comes to mufflers. I always use band clamps for them for a while until I'm happy with how they sound.

Sounds good, Im looking for a muffler that has a great sounding idle, but doesn't drone at highway speed. Is there a particular series of the magna-flow or bola that sounds the best?

I do not have the original paint code, but I was told the truck was "yellow 81348"

I used the Borla Pro XS mufflers. Here is a clip (not my truck). You can tell they're a little more mellow, less hollow sounding, if that makes sense. To me they sound like a mix of american muscle and european power.

But picking mufflers is like choosing paint colors haha.
