In the case of the pictures shown in post #17, is the welding all done at this point or will you continue to fill in the gaps between dots? Thanks.

The seam will be 100% welded by adding weld dots until there is no longer an unwelded spot. You will overlap the new weld dots onto the previous by a 1/2 or 1/3 to ensure complete coverage.
