Thanks, looking at your posts I consider you the expert. Thanks for all the help. I asked him if it would work to switch just the boots and he told me not to do that. But didn't explain why. Only thing I could figure is cpp makes arms different between years. He also mentioned using the 72 outer tie rod would be an upgrade as they are bigger diameter than the 70. I figure 40 for 2 tie rods and 60 for the sleeves.

Ok I'm back! Sorry got caught up with work and family. After Dinos Git Down now have renwed energy.

So on left is the old spindles on my truck and on right are the new cpp spindles. I looked up the numbers for the drop spindles on my truck and they are actually for 73 to 87 trucks. The outer tie rod hole looks to be 11/16. The cpp drop spindles outer tie rod hole is about 5/8.

I really want to use the cpp spindles/aarms/brakes for front and and disc brakes for rear.

Question is from pics and measures - what do I need to do to the tie rods to make this work? Obviously po had to change tie rods to make to 73+ spindles work. Any thots?

Would a 71 72 outer tie rod work?
The outer tie rod is rh threaded. Length from end to grease fitting is 6 3/4.
The inner tie rod is lh threaded. Length is 8 1/4?

Solved. I bought a 70 72 and 73 tie rod ends. The 72 worked perfect.
