I always see a lot of 67-72 trucks when I drive past his place.

Don't think so...he worked at the fire dept and did a little grading
On his days off. Dont think he was a truck guy

Well, to drive all the way from SC to Havasu to buy a truck is quite a feat. Wait, I just did something similar too... Lol.
Good luck on your build sir.

Nice progress! That’s some killer metal finishing. Tig is the way to go if one has access to it. I haven’t run one in 6-7 years. I wish I could afford one so I could start playing again.

I was wondering who you used for your booster restoration and if you were happy with the results. I am getting ready to send mine off.

Very nice work on a really nice truck. I have a severely rotted out 72 Cheyenne Super Highlander K20 that someone started doing a body swap on. Luckily they saved the old cab so I'm collecting parts to rebuild it. It's the only truck I've ever had that actually had tow hooks. Too bad they're gone but you have to start some where.

What size wheels are you running? I'm still upset BFG dropped the 33 12.50 16.5s.

wheels are wheel vintique 16x8 and 285/75 16

Re: My last hoorah...1972 K20 Cheyenne Super frame off

They look really good. They almost look wider than a 285/75 usually does. I read you said excuse the mess..... It still looks pretty clean around the project. Keep up the great work. You sure move fast!
