Re: Bought a F@RD!, big block EFI 460 1-ton... "PROJECT COUSIN EDDIE"
cousin eddie has a roof over his head now.. finally got around to setting up the 10x27 king canopy garage. Since this canopy was made with 6'6" side walls, I had to buy 10' poles at Lowes. I pounded them about a foot into the ground and bolted every single connection. TSC has great deals on bulk bolts, I used about 70 1/4 bolts, nuts and lock washers... should be more sturdy that originally intended.
As you can see the RV sticks out a bit, I installed the zipper door after these pics and I am going to make some inserts to make it wrap around the nose of the RV. Remember, this canopy was/is on clearance for $150! and $100 to ship it all. New poles cost me $80 so for about 6 months rental storage i'll have this paid off! http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_4452.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_4453.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_4454.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_4455.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_4456.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_4457.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_4458.jpg |

now my trailer lost it's parking space...
plans are in the works for removing the shed and building a 2.5 car pole barn... might take a few years, but mama is getting on board the idea... |

might be... I saw an ad in the paper yesterday, they are auctioning off the old town highway dept. garage. I think it had 6 or 8 bays, some large enough for the RV... hmmm, that's temtping.

Re: Bought a F@RD!, big block EFI 460 1-ton... "PROJECT COUSIN EDDIE"
Eddie is now up for sale, decided that we don't need the expense of another payment....
I've had a few bites but so far nothing solid.. asking $7900 as is or $8900 if I do the roof. we'll see how it goes... |
Re: Bought a F@RD!, big block EFI 460 1-ton... "PROJECT COUSIN EDDIE"
SOLD
woohoo, made money on it too... good thing, the RV canopy now looks like a modern art sculpture... super strong winds whipped it into the neighbors yard overnight, probably because the RV was in the driveway and not under the canopy... I don't have to put the roof on it this time either... |
Re: Bought a F@RD!, big block EFI 460 1-ton... "PROJECT COUSIN EDDIE"
