ok Liz, I'll try explaining... Guys it's a TOOL you may not use it but if you want it is there. it's purpose is so 10 years from now our pictures will still be viewable. have anyof you been looking at a thread and get pissed because the pictures have expired? it sucks. with this tool you can post images there and your thread pictures will be viewable for the rest of the world to see for a long time to come. personally i don't use it. but if you save picsto the archive, and repost those pics in your thread fromthe archive, they wont turn to little red x's.

Well i finally got around to putting new mirrors on my truck. Also added some summer rims. It looks exactly how I wanted it too look when i envisioned it and started working on it over a year ago. Before and After

Thanks, the blue is the original color. I was going to do it blue over white but a friend talked me into black on top and I'm glad he did.

I know you've posted it before, but what's your wheel/tire size?

Edit: just found it, turns out you posted it three minutes after I posted this, just in another thread. 18s on 255/55s.

What do we have going on here? 1 ton dually suspension, lowered on a short wheel base? Interesting.

1badgmc 05-01-2011 10:01 AM

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Topped off with some 19" wheels...

What's the fuel filler situation on the other side, though, since standard dually flares such as those will interfere with it?

I love that blue dually, though I'm not fond of the spike lug covers. Almost looks to be the same blue as my truck.

Thanks and yes we completed the truck in 48 Hours tho the trucks suspension had been handled years ago at Ekstensive. Bascically started with a driving turd. We tore the truck apart, body worked (every panel!), welded some key areas up, painted , full interior (including new panels, dash etc), full stereo system, painted wheels, new tires, all new glass, new solenoids for shaved doors, etc etc. All in two days it was a ton of work to meet the deadline. Videos for sale of the build are on creatingrollingart.com (FYI mod's Im not offering anything for sale..just sayin! :)

here mine. bought it back in december from orginal owner 1990 chevy with 190,xxx miles on it.. dropped it 4/6 placed 454 wheels on it, then the 17 torque thrust now,,

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Nice truck, but it's really hard for me to decide whether I like it better with the SS wheels or with the Torq Thrusts. It looks so good both ways.

Boog 05-10-2011 09:18 PM

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Hey I'm middle aged and I think both are improvements over how you got it. It's a tough choice but I tend to like the second pic with the SS wheels. ;)
