I agree with you 100 percent on this one, they need to think of more than just the "motor heads", I mean enthusiasts on these shows for ratings

*IN GENERAL* you could almost say that the show caters to the "barret jackson" crowd. The people who don't really care about the build itself, but the finished product. It's "neat" for them to see the abbreviated build, but in the end, all they really care about is the final product.

Those of us who truely care to see just the build itself are few and far between :(

10-4 on that one- That's why I love my Power Block on Saturday mornings...not to mention Miss Courtney. WHOOO! I was glad to see her step into that show after Overhaulin for sure, she's real easy on the eyes.

x2 !!! I dvr powerblock every saturday and sunday. all of 'em -- Trucks, Hp tv, xtreme 4x4, etc.

They have been throwin in a few old Stacey David episodes lately though. He's a great personable guy, but the new guys, Ryan and Kevin, have had a lot more shows about stuff that people can use

I care more how it is done than the final product. I bought and almost finished 67 Malibu SS and it wasn't really any fun. I sold it to pay for a house with a shop. I rented out the house and used the shop. The projects are all a lot more fun.

The worst show was American Hotrod. I am sorry Boyd died but I didn't like the way he treated people and cars. I miss Stacy David and the original guy on Horsepower.

Oh Man! I had no idea that Boyd Codington died!!!

But I do agree, it wasnt the funnest show to watch...too much drama.

You gotta check out Stacey's show on Speed: Gearz @ 9 am eastern time on Speed. Good stuff on there, he does it like he used to on Trucks.

Everybody likes Stacey David better but me ---- i admit he's got a great tv personality and i have his new show dvr'ed too, but how many episodes do you need on how to install Browning machine guns and Rockwells on a vintage 4-by? Copperhead was cool though

Most of the people who watch this show are "motorheads" so I wish they would show more of the build process than the stupid pranks.

So if the truck on overhaulin was a 71 3/4ton long bed...that had a camper on it. Why did it have trailing arms and coil springs in the back and not leaf springs?

I have a 69 GMC 3/4 ton with coils... They were available with either.

I liked the truck, but not the new format of the show. There was A LOT of advertising and less focus on the actual assembly. Also, looking at a tired Foose in HD is not easy on the eyes.
