Re: My 68 c10
Chiming in from H-Town, Good Luck on your build, you have a great looking truck. Many of us could only dream of having the resources and facilities that you have at your age. Its really good that you are taking advantage of it. I will keep up with your build. You got plenty of "ganas" so I'm sure it will end up fabulous.......

well today my dad asked me would i rather make sure the truck is running fine and not put in the new intake carburetor and 700r4 in right now and just do my body work i chose to do that before doing my body work.
so the plans on a 67 are on hold until "crooked" get a tune up =]] |

Re: My 68 c10
You are moving right along......It's cool that your dad is not doing it for you. I have a 20 year old son and I have built him already two vehicles so I am done, if he wants it he has to build them himself, I am letting him bang his head beforeI bail him out.
Love what you have already done with it....:metal: |

Hey everyone, I would like to thank all of you for your interest and nice comments on my son's low budget but hard labor build.;) He really loves his truck. He has put every dollar he earned this winter break into it(with a few exceptions to take his girl out:lol:) He is working very hard on it every day and he does not want Dad to do everything all I have to do is guide him along the way. I am so PROUD to watch him enjoy his truck.:metal:

Re: My 68 c10
Hey im just trying to get more opinions on this forum... Any one that reads this feel free to answer please....
should i stay with the holly carburetor or go with an edlbrock carburetor?? |
Re: My 68 c10
Whats wrong with the holley? There both good brands
|
Re: My 68 c10
I think holley is more fine tunable and edelbrock is simpler to tune...
thats what Ive heard.. Ive got the edelbrock, seems pretty easy I like it. |
Re: My 68 c10
thank you for the input
|
Re: My 68 c10
What kind of drop is in it now ?
|
Re: My 68 c10
I like the holley personally . I have had bad luck with the edelbrock . Not saying the edelbrock is a bad carb just my opinion. Bob

Re: My 68 c10
Nice truck! If you dont put that trim back on let me know Ill buy it. One more thing...where did those tri-bars come from. I have been looking at different swap meets but they have color dots and/or turn signal in them and thats not what im looking for.
