Amazing this stuff is still out there!
The revision date on the picking tag sticker reflects "10/81" and the date is "08-28-85" I think there is a law that states replacement parts have to be obtainable for ten years after production. Since the wood is for a 67-72 guess that means they made the wood past the 10 year requirement. |

I was just thinking today, I think it would be neat to have a petrified wood bed. Extra weight would be good for snow days.

Just wondering what ever became of this wood. I'm looking for a NOS or nice, used set of boards for a long, fleetside. Has anyone removed the black boards from their truck to install a stained set? Wanna sell them?
