Nice score! Here's a pic of my "Old Old Stock". I just washed the original bed wood from mine:

Awesome find! It's alot better than my treated 3/4" plywood.

Amazing this stuff is still out there!

The revision date on the picking tag sticker reflects "10/81" and the date is "08-28-85"

I think there is a law that states replacement parts have to be obtainable for ten years after production. Since the wood is for a 67-72 guess that means they made the wood past the 10 year requirement.

I was just thinking today, I think it would be neat to have a petrified wood bed. Extra weight would be good for snow days.

link to mine... I finally sold it, and delivered it to Indiana... some of my boards where actually long enough for a longhorn truck...

good luck

Mike,

I still have it. Some day it will be painted Hugger Orange.

Can anybody tell me the dimension for the radius that goes around the wheel wells?

Just wondering what ever became of this wood. I'm looking for a NOS or nice, used set of boards for a long, fleetside. Has anyone removed the black boards from their truck to install a stained set? Wanna sell them?

It would be a shame to let that continue to sit, you should really put it to use!
