Clean up the bed rail edges and falsed the bed floor 3''. I started the body work on bed. This is the first time I’ve done body work and I’d rather turns wrenches. LOL!! Got my new tail gate and it fits like ****. It was not assembled so I’m going to have to cut all the welds out and straighten it.

A little update from the past couple of weeks. The bed is sealed and primed. When I got the tailgate it was assembled crooked so I had to cut all the welds out of the tailgate and reassemble it. It fits much better now. When I put the tailgate on the bed I found a little problem. The bed is all square now and the tailgate is round… damn I should have seen it coming. To square up the tailgate I think I will build a little spoiler not fast and furious but like the new ford 150 trucks..

Im going to redo it or just add some more. Thinking about carrying the spoiler from the tailgate onto the bed sides. Matching the angels on the bed side and running the spoiler across the entire rear end. Should have it done by Friday. |

Happy Easter guys. Got some work done today. I remove the ridges on the steps and started reinstalling the slick plate. Got to go slow to avoid warping. Install my new rear light. They are off a corvette and fit great. I think.

Thanks cflvulcan, your hood looks good. The body line carries down the front not like the others you can buy. Im thinking of building one myself. think something like the hood on the new camaro. Something not to square, side angled a little like first picture. I would like to make it like the second 2 pics but not shure about the look. |

Not that I want to turn your page into a camaro show, but here is my wife's. I was also thinking that style of scoop, or using one of a late model dodge truck, I am sure you will get to yours(the hood) before I get to mine so kep the pics coming
