Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?
That c10 is not "slammed" at all (as the ad says). A 4/6 drop and it looks sky high.
Anyway, I'd be interested if I can see what the 20x8/20x10 look like. I can use those for shows and photoshoots since they weigh so much, and keep my 15s for daily driving. I wonder if trim rings will ever be available. I know they said they are working on them... Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?
I'm ordering a set for my 72 Suburban. I was going to go with the 20x9 any input on the back spacing? I'm running air ride with a regular c notch.

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?
20x9 with a 6" BS up front.
20x9 with a 4.5" BS in the rear. |
Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?
Just got some info from Adam.
Kinda kills it for me unless they do wider than 8" for 18s. Don't really want 20s. We'll see. http://oi48.tinypic.com/veusma.jpg http://oi46.tinypic.com/eu3v5k.jpg |

Here's a set of 20" Mobsteel wheels on this sweet '54 at SEMA.
The first picture makes them look really deep dished. The second, outside pic, shows them better. |

I have a set on order now for my Suburban. I can't wait to get them in. I'm still undecided on tire selection.

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?
Adam called about my wheel order. I'm still two weeks out from getting my set. I'm having mine powder coated white, which is taking some extra time.
Adam indicated that they are having some production issues and that once they get a good supply set up it will no longer be a problem. While I would really like my wheels, I appreciate a phone call and some honest answers. In the mean time I need to get started on my suspension. Posted via Mobile Device |

Are you guys wanting just solid steelies? Cuz ive got 18x8 titan steel wheels on my truck, which need to have spacers because they set in so much but they dont look too bad. I wanna go to either some black or chrome 20s or 15s with baby moons

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?
Adam from Mob Steel called this morning. My wheels will be picked up from powder coat today, or tomorrow. He is adding a couple of tshirts for the delay. Hopefully I should have them in a week or ten days.
Time delay not withstanding I think Adam and Mob Steel are a stand up business. I will updated with pictures soon. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?
I talked to Adam over Facebook, and discussed wheel options. They get their tires through Diamondback tires, who from what Adam told me will take just about any modern tire, smooth the sidewall, and vulcanize a whitewall onto it. So you get the looks and modern tires. Also, they can make the wheels in lots of different offsets. We discussed a 20x14, which he thought was possible. So follow me here... 20x8.5s up front and 20x14 in the rear, with a deep offset for that big lip look. Powder coated black, with spider caps for the centers of the wheels. And run some 45 series tires on it with a decent whitewall. On a flat silver truck with a metal flake roof, bagged of course. Thats whats been running through my head ever since I saw those wheels, Im just too broke to execute unless he wants to just give them to me for free lol.
