Man Chad, you're gonna have one beautiful truck when you're done. I can't wait to see this thing come together and hopefully see it in person when it's complete :metal:

That's good news Chad! Glad you were able to decide on colors and move forward. It's awesome your wife is on board with it too. Sounds like it will be sweet when you're done.

Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

Just a quick update and Thanks guys for the comments. I'm really building some momentum on this truck again.

I met with Harold on Sat and bought my wood floor cross sills and NOS taillight / backup light lenses. :metal: Thank you my brotha!

Dad has been working on my bucket seats, I have a set of 69-70 for it, they have been all the way to the frames, blasted and cleaned up, frames and brackets painted, etc. New foams and saddle covers from Truckseats. My interior guy is about 2 weeks out so I should have some pictures soon. If you guys have never seen the foams Tim sells, they are really top notch. I had his covers on some black buckets once upon a time and they are really nice. My interior guy has been doing it for 30+ yrs and he said they were some of the best he had ever seen. The seats in this truck will be better than new. I'm doing front / back slider on the driver's side and flip up on the passenger side so that way I can get to the space where the tank was.

Dad and I are going to mock up the bed and front clip as soon as the weather turns around.. she should start taking shape soon. I want to align the panels and get the fit perfect then blow it back apart and take it for paint.

Chad, nice score on the parts, especially the NOS tailgate...

Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

The gate was taken off a very low mile original truck, original paint, no rust at all.. its amazing man. Its like NOS with personality.. :D .. but not NOS out of the box type thing.

I can't wait to see it as a fleet.

Dad picked up my buckets yesterday, they turned out really nice. I'm sure as someone sits in the seat and / or the sun warms them a little the foams will settle in but .. 69-70 in Saddle. Adjuster brackets on the driver side, flip brackets on the passenger. All new USA made foams and Truckseats covers.

Dad will be restoring more of these seats in the spring if anyone might be interested. He is amazing with detail. The brackets were all blasted and cleaned, etc. I'm pretty stoked about them. Kind of 'Nacho' ~ish color combo, especially with the 68 Anniversary paint scheme.

Thanks Jason, I just wanted something a little different and Saddle goes with about any color IMO. Right now I'm 99% set on Anniversary gold / white.

Rus, I'm sorry man I talked to the wife and she wasn't too crazy about it. One of those responses you know you just shouldn't push the issue anymore. Know what I mean ?? :D So I may have to catch the next one.

I was kind of bored in my retirement, so I decided to pull Chad's seats together for him. And I asked my wife, too Rus. She gave me that look... so I will try to make it next time. ;)

Just seeing what you guys thought about this wheel? 22x10 or 20x10 ? I have been talking to Travis  and I am about to pull the trigger.

I reaaaally like this wheel too. Just like this only in 20x10, .. or possibly 22x10.
http://houstonperformancetrucks.com/...Need-405-25-24

Just not sure how the tire sizes will work out. What are you guys running our back on the 22x10 setup? I do have the narrow axle and I am considering having it narrowed more. Maybe 1.5" per side ?

Like it chad. I'd say 22x10 rear and 22x8.5 in front. IMO

Those racelines are sick!!! Would look so sweet with the anniversary paint too. Just for reference I'm runnin 20x8.5 255/40/20 front 22x10 285/40/22 rear. I personally think it's to much rake for a static truck but that's just more reason for me to get her lower;) The reason I went with these numbers is they are the same that N2Billet ran on Hazel and I thought it had the perfect when look laid out. Hope this helps!
