Looks great David (and Josh)!! Since this is your first ever paint job, just think how good it will look when you learn what you're doing (lol). I've seen it in person and it really looks as good, if not better, than it appears in the pictures.

Paint is looking very nice, wish I had the paint skill. I can do anything but paint and just bought doors for my truck to get ready for paint and thought I could with some info and a lot of work but then a painter asked me if I could rebuild his 429 for his 59 Ford and he would trade for painting my 71, so not this time, trading is better.

Thank you! Haha nice trade! Yea it's really not too bad I don't think. The prep work is what I completely hate! This is my first paint job and I've still got a lot to learn but I'm feeling a lot more comfortable with doing it. Very satisfying to do it yourself too!

I don't have a radio right now and I'd like to put in a correct looking one eventually but I'm not sure when that'll be. Might go ahead and put in the panel for a while since the engine is plenty enough to listen to

Yea that's true! Takes a bit of learning curve. Thanks a lot!

I did not have to do a c notch with the ECE 4/6 kit. My truck came with 4 wheel drums and I wanted disk up front so the 2.5'' drop spindles took care of that. The spindles push out the wheels 1.5'' on each side so be aware of that if you take this route. The stock springs were swapped for the 1.5" drop ones in the front and 6" rear. The kit also came with 4 KYB shocks, relocator kit, and an adjustable track bar.

Thank you! Right now they're 17x8 all around with 4" bs (0 offset). Somewhere down the line I want to change out my front for 17x7's and have a little more bs to even them out with the width in the back.
