yeah, we just in the last couple days got a pretty decent snowfall on the mountains, prob a couple feet plus, Cheam mt behind me has had some near the top for the last month. but it's where i like it right now, at about 1500-2000 ft, can go play in it but dont need to shovel it :metal::metal:
just checked the weather, freezing level is supposed to drop sun, mon, tues....

just like it says...not plowed, just the snowmobilers. sometime luck overrides stupidity...:lol: looked hard, but the sign was as far as i got. just a crust with soft under it. luckily it was only about a foot when i bogged. trusty shovel time...

did'nt get very far. good thing the truck bogged when it did. about 200 feet in me and dawg started breaking threw the sled tracks....i was still not touching the ground, and my boots were filling up with snow. even dawg was having a hard time floppin' threw it

been off work last 2 days at home feeling like carp with a horrible cold.
today i decided to make myself feel better...lol
went for a drive up Harrison lake east FSR, it's only about 20 mins from my house, literally in our back yard, but i have'nt been up there since 1991. it's a beautiful area, but the yahoo's from Vancouver turn the whole area into a real gong show every weekend and all summer, so we just have'nt bothered going there in awhile..
last time we were there was in '91 with my then young wife in my '76 K5, we drove to Shovel creek road, which is a very remote back way into Nahatlatch valley. driving that road you go prepared, extremely rough, there is NO ONE around, no type of cell service, it would be a hurtin' place to break down...planning on going up there in a couple months once the snow lifts...:metal:

with the snow meltdown and the logging trucks, the road was bloody rough- pothole city. and not just regular potholes, logger potholes, foot, foot and a half deep, sometimes more...
