1st panel is cool, 2nd truck is a "lot" nicer. So simular but so not.

Been watching this one for awhile. Whoever it is, recently got in back together. It sits just south of Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island Florida. Maybe it belongs to a member that will show us more.:chevy:

Looks like a 67-68 cowl hood on it - I didn't think you could swap one onto a 69-72. so looks like there is a weird gap on the front when the hood is closed? Good looking truck btw...

He's still working on it...doesn't have the hood closed all the way. It looks like a 71-72 grill with a 67-68 hood....I didn't think a grill swap was possible either.....I'll have to take a closer look at it next time I drive by.

Re: Weekly Sightings

So, I was on Craigslist (how many times that line has gotten me into trouble) and I saw a set of 20" 5x5 Martin Brothers rims for sale. Something in me said "must have". So I touched base with the guy. He texted me a few more photos and in the background there APPEARED to be a bagged C10.
At this point, I was committed. :metal: So, today I went to check them out and this is what I found (in addition to the wheels... which I subsequently bought) And, no... he wouldn't sell me the truck. (it's his wife's) :waah:

He had never heard of the forum, but he has now.

I look at all the older Chevrolet trucks still driving today and wonder why Chevrolet does not use the numbers for advertising. I think the commercials said a percentage of trucks from 1981 and up are still on the road. They should look at the numbers on this forum alone.

Saw this truck on my way in to work today. The guy bought it from the original owner who used it as a fruit and vegetable market truck in Virginia. He drives it daily.

A little bump for this thread. I would have got a better pic of the C30 but it was pouring rain so I took the pic out the window of the van. The Green GMC was parked in the small town where I went to pick up some rims yesterday.

Funny the patina on the blue truck almost looks fake like some try and copy, can tell it's been sitting there for a while too.
