Not sure, hopefully around late summer or early fall. Dad and I have been talking to several painters around the area. I guess well see how it works out.

My Racelines shipped yesterday :metal: Just the fronts, but I'm thinking the rear will not be too far behind. (no pun intended..:D )

I have also spotted a 71-72 Hugger Orange Cheyenne, Short Fleet .. For Sale, on a rarely traveled back country road, .. stay tuned.

Awesome. I can't wait to see those new wheels. If it works out for you and if some things work out for me (which they usually do not) I might be up to take one of them off your hands if you go that direction.

Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

I just found this orange one along the side of the road with a For Sale sign in the windshield. The sign is kinda faded.. I couldnt stop to look at it, I just saw it from the road. It was Mother's Day, the wife was in the car.. my Mom .. It just wasnt a good day to crawl around under a truck.

My great Uncle lives in the area and he's supposed to go back today and ask about it. I'll let you guys know. It will just be a clean up and flip.. Or I could put a little drop on it.. some billets.. NO. Kidding. Just a quick flipper. It's a solid looking truck though. It looked like it had been painted one time in it's life but I couldnt tell a lot about it. Full Upper / Lower trim, what looked like 8" Corvette style rallys on it. I have a good friend looking for one so I may have it sold before I ever get it home.

I'm in Florida brother.. :D soaking up the sun. Dads going to post some pics shortly. I haven't even seen them in person yet.

Yall help me chose a color. 503 light green, hugger orange or the Anniversary gold scheme. Hugger / light green both with a white top and grille. Full trim on all colors.

The interior will be saddle with woodgrain inserts and glove box, lokar brushed accents.

It will be one of those three colors though. Tough to decide but I really like the Anniversary combo.

Oh, my vote on the paint is Anniversary Gold with the '68 side trim.

Nice area for sure! We have a place in PC, so it's the go to during the summer with Kim being a school teacher, then we rent it for most of the remaining year :gi:

Wheels look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! :metal:

And the gold is the bestest...but the green is a close 2nd

IMHO the anniversary gold is the best option, I have a real soft spot for that color scheme.

Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

I'm replying from my phone so it's tough to quote all the posts but guys thank you for the compliments. For the wheels I just wanted something a little 'Billet' a little 'Pro Touring' and just different than the others at the show. I like a brushed wheel but the lug detail we left polished just for a bit of contrast. I can't wait to see them in person.

The Raceline Razor wheels are actually discontinued. Travis worked with them for me and was awesome. If you're in the market for wheels he is top notch. He stayed in touch with me from the beginning to delivery. Pro Performance .. check them out.

It's likely going to be Anniversary Gold. I think I'll be really happy with it.

Re: 1969 C10 SWB - Big Block project

I like the anniversary gold combo too. I think it's a great choice. But of course, these trucks look so good, I'm sure you'd be happy with any of your options.

So Travis got Raceline to build you a set of discontinued wheels? Now that's awesome! I just ordered wheels from Travis about a week ago. He's been very helpful. I'd second your suggestion for Pro Performance.

After seeing the pics above I'm really thinking the anniversary gold would look sweet with your wheels. But, you take a lowered truck with billet wheels any color looks good...;)
