Also got around to getting the bed off the 60's frame out back and placed it on a dolly. Disassembly is going well just have to finish cutting the rear bed welds to get the bedsides completely loose then it will be ready for sand/water blasting and ready to primer and paint. Some minor body work will be needed on the passenger side thanks to homeless people throwing stuff in the bed and banging up the sides :/

Well also got the e brake buttons in got lucky and found an autoloc kit on amazon and ordered not badly priced either complete with aluminum bezel 2 switches and 2 plug harnesses. Also linear actuator is in and sitting in a drawer ready to go. I need to look at how to mount it to the trans cross member but that''s just a lil issue to deal with in over all scheme of things

Well been busy working on little projects and gathering more stuff lol. I found that hot wheels at some point released 60-66 key chains lol so I got me one recently and put my truck keys on it lol. Also got the alternator in and mounted to the truck waiting on the AC compressor as well at the moment. Plus got the american billet hood hinges in and currently in the process of getting them mounted and checked out.

here is the alternator lol. Also picked up a tool for my buddy who is looking at building me a in bed gas tank cover made of matching oak with chromed bed strips to match the bed. It cuts the channel on the edges of the bed boards like the factory did. Also picked up a new larger compressor I am currently getting wired into the shop and ready to go for some projects that need more CFM then my lil shop compressor can handle. And lastly saw this bad ass engine cover a guy made with an old rotted out hood :D

Also working on getting the engine ready to fire up and dealing with lots of little issues lol mounting the maf 4inch tube to big 3.5 inch tube to small grrr!!!!!! starter is mounted and ready to go, belt mounted up with accessories in place, new sensors all around. Just need radiator and hoses in place and a battery with a flip switch to start it up. that wake sure everything is gonna work properly lol. Still have to get the core support holes drilled and mounted again. Also hooking up the trans thermostat to the cooler as well.

Lookin' good Sean

Where did you find that mega fuse holder? I like that one better than the typical ones I have seen with the phony rubber cover.

Hey Captain,
Here is a link to them: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/576-02981003ZXT
10 bucks for them at mouser not a bad price. The chevy police editions also had a 3 bank model of them as well.

Also over last few weeks been working on the power cable setups and how to manage the multiple power feeds running through the engine compartment. At this time its 90% done. Still debating on using the clamps you see in the pictures versus a setup I found that uses plastic insulation inserts still looking at both options right now.

Well start getting things reassembled and aligned for the body shop to start finishing the pain here soon. and oooohhhhh man the bed is turning out verrrrryyyyy nicely quite happy with this one!!
Aluminum core support is making some progress, battery tray 90% finished.. motoring right along. waiting on some parts to come in guy found that with minor mods a 93 electric window regulator from a chevy van will work in our trucks with a few minor mods will see what it requires and post it up on another thread :D
