Something I just noticed about this truck is that it looks like it does not have the correct 1979 grille. (More of a question than a comment) Did the 1 ton trucks have different grilles than the 1/2 & 3/4 ton trucks?
Or has this grille just been changed?

That's exactly what I paid for the nearly exact same truck (color, year, condition) in 1993. Now I'm almost done with it's second frame off build in 26 years. So I either really over paid or this is a really good deal haha.

Sooo... I’ve been in communication with the owner... I offered him my ‘75 in a trade and he offered back my truck plus 4K. It’s not a terrible deal, I just don’t have 4K! Lying around. I have been seriously thinking about a crew cab build so I can haul the whole family around safely, plus have the utility of a real pickup bed.

My only gripe is that it’s got that pale yellow repaint on it. It’s a two tone yellow/white. Paint code 463.
