WE still have a drive in theater. They host a free entry for old cars one Thursday night a month.

Mercury Trucks were unique to Canada and the one you posted has a Saskatchewan Collector Plate on it.

There were some smooth rides up in there and M100's are a rarity in the US.

I had no idea when Mercury nixed the pickup, but I have never seen one that late model.

More from the drive-in one night.

It looks like an Arkansas license plate.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

I have a question

When I go and look at old GM cars and trucks to purchase, why does the owner always ask.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THE CAR/TRUCK?

This question really pisses me off! In my opinion, it is none of this persons business what my plans are for the vehicle or what I do with it once I buy it! His only concern is weather or not the cash/check clears!

I would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

I would guess they are concerned for the future of something they might not really want to get rid of. JMO :ito:

I've tried to buy that truck on multiple occasions. Apparently it is not for sale.

Doh! I wasn't paying attention, thought Eric posted the drive-in pics. Thanks for sharing! I wouldn't sell it either if it were in my barn! But you know what they say, everyone has a price.. But I think "they" is wrong.

It doesn’t really bother me,
My answer is always the same
‘I’m going to keep it original, so I can preserve the heritage and history of this era of trucks’
